Check out this adorable Valentine’s Day video!

By Cultural Care Au Pair

Au pairs are really feeling the love this Valentine’s Day! From host families, to fellow au pairs, to LCCs, au pairs are feeling extra celebrated and appreciated this February.

Who is celebrating au pairs most of all this Valentine’s Day? Their host kids!

The relationship between an au pair and their host kid can be so special—for a child in the USA, an au pair can be a big sister or brother, a role model, a confidante, and a friend. They can bring a whole new kind of love into their lives, helping to care for them and introduce them to brand new things and experiences that will enrich their worlds.

We recently caught up with a few au pairs and host kids in the USA, asking them what love meant to them—and what they love about each other. We also asked our au pairs to teach their host kids how to say “I love you” in their native language. Spoiler alert: It’s adorable.

Check out the heartwarming video below of some Valentine’s Day small talk between our au pairs and host kids—it’ll leave you feeling a little extra inspired today!

Cultural Care Au Pair here! We believe that cultural exchange makes the world a better place – and so we’ve made it our life’s mission to help au pairs have enriching experiences in the USA. When we’re not helping au pairs travel, learn and grow in America, we’re probably eating candy from around the world and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
